The Sky Has No Limit

Its a beautiful morning as I sit here looking out across the river and see the glowing pink of the approaching sunrise sweep across the canvas of a new day.

The tall green grasses with purple tips are unswayed in the crisp morning frost. The sleepy birds start chattering to each other; and, I soak it all in.

The morning sun rapidly plows forward along the eastern corridor, and the sky glows with hope of another day.

All is still.

All is calm.

I can see.

I can hear.

I can feel.

I can smell.

I am alive.

The sky is fully aglow now. The distant scattered cloud seems forgotten and ignored.

Wait. Now the sky is on fire with warmth and comfort.

I breathe it all in and thank God for the blessings that lay before me.

I thank God that He has answered prayers in what I can see, feel, hear, and breathe.

I thank God for what I cannot see, feel, hear, or breathe.  I thank God that He has protected. The “what ifs…” and “could haves…” did not come true. And, I am grateful for God’s  answered prayers.

The pink glowing sky melts into an invigorating bluish hue, and I reach for another day.

The sky has no limit.

Hope springs eternal.

My heart overflows with gratitude for the goodness and greatness of God.
