So the truth is: I don’t like to talk about myself. It’s boring. When you’ve read the book “Nothing Ever Happens On My Street” you’ll understand (or maybe not) what I’m talking about.
Why do this then?
All I’m trying to do is journal my thoughts somewhere.
I need to capture my journey.
This isn’t about getting a bazillion followers randomly jumping into my life, cheering me on. And, I’m not motivated by the thought of couch-potato coaches who have never ventured into transparent living (or living at all) criticizing my world.
I’m blogging as a way of sharing with others who may relate to my journey.
I’m blogging because sometimes the roads of my life journey have been scarred with painful and unexpected detours. There have been times when I didn’t know how I could muster up the strength or courage to take one more step. And it has been during some of these darkest moments of my life that I’ve heard or read something that someone shared from their heart that gave me the energizing strength to keep on going.
In the same way, my desire and prayer is that some how something I say provides encouragement to others in their life journeys. If I help someone else along their journey, then I will be satisfied that it was all worth it.
